Oh my god. This book is killing me. In a good way…if that makes any sense. I haven’t read a book like this in a long time. Where the story just consumes me, where their pain is my pain and I feel like I’m living the life of the characters and I just completely lose myself. I’ve missed this. But its so sad and beautiful at the same time. And I just find myself crying on one page and laughing in the next. Or having to pause in the middle of a paragraph and hold the book close to me because I need to catch my breath. Because whatever I just read was so profound, or heart wrenching, or beautiful that it almost seems impossible that someone could have possibly strung the words together so perfectly.
